When is Bernoulli’s equation inaccurate?
Real systems with substantial friction, pumps, turbines, compressibility or unsteady flow require additional energy terms or a different model.
Can this explain pressure drop through a restriction?
It captures the ideal pressure-velocity tradeoff, but real restrictions also create irreversible losses that must be modeled separately.
