How MAXScanner chooses, writes and maintains calculator pages

The goal is useful search coverage, not maximum URL count. A new calculator must solve a distinct job, explain its math in original language and give users something more useful than a keyword-swapped result box.

A page must own a distinct task

We do not create another page solely because the same formula can be phrased with a different keyword. Reciprocal calculations are combined when that makes the interface clearer, and exact-value pages are curated only when the query has a stable direct-answer intent.

  • No arbitrary “every number” page generation.
  • No city, unit or keyword permutations without distinct user value.
  • Search Console evidence is used to decide whether a cluster deserves careful expansion.

Explanations are written for the actual calculation

Each substantive calculator gets a purpose-specific introduction, formula reference, worked example, assumptions, limits, FAQ and related-calculation path. We avoid generic paragraphs that could be swapped onto another calculator unchanged.

Competitor SERPs can reveal what users expect—such as pattern repeat for wallpaper or supporting materials for drywall—but MAXScanner writes its own explanations and builds its own math rather than copying prose or tables.

The calculator comes before the article

A visitor arriving with a calculation intent should reach editable inputs and a useful result quickly. Supporting text exists to explain, verify and extend the result, not to force a user through a long SEO article before the tool. Mobile controls are designed to remain editable and readable without horizontal scrolling.

Trust signals must be true

MAXScanner does not invent professional reviewers, fabricated user ratings, fake test counts or credentials. Structured data reflects content that is visibly present on the page. When a calculation has a safety or standards boundary, that limitation is part of the visible result or article.

Updates are driven by correctness and evidence

Stable formulas do not receive fake date changes merely to appear fresh. Dynamic “from today” pages legitimately refresh because their answer changes. Other calculators are revisited when formulas, product assumptions, references, UI behavior or search evidence show a reason to change them.

What success means

Ranking is an outcome, not a guarantee. We measure whether pages are crawlable, indexed, useful on mobile, internally connected and earning impressions/clicks for the intended query family. Pages that stay indistinct or unhelpful should be improved, consolidated or removed from the index rather than multiplied.
