Teletalk Photo and Signature Resize: 300×300 and 300×80 px JPG

This page makes the two files a Teletalk government job form asks for: a colour photo of exactly 300 × 300 pixels under 100 KB and a signature of exactly 300 × 80 pixels under 60 KB, both as JPG (often written 300*300 and 300*80). The numbers come from the CAG circular of 29 October 2026; many Teletalk circulars use the same pair, but compare them with your own circular.

Teletalk uploads in short

  • Photo: 300 × 300 pixels, in colour, at most 100 KB. The circular sets no minimum.
  • Signature: 300 × 80 pixels, at most 60 KB, again with no minimum.
  • 300 × 80 is a long, thin strip with a 15 : 4 shape. A signature photographed on a whole page has to be cut down to the ink first, or it ends up as a small mark in the middle of the strip.
  • Because there is no minimum, the kit never pads a Teletalk file: it uses the highest JPG quality that stays under the limit. Our test signature came out at 8.2 KB, far below 60 KB.
  • CAG applications close on 25 November 2026 at 4:00 pm, as shown on cag.teletalk.com.bd.

What Teletalk asks for

Photo: 300 × 300 pixels, up to 100 KB

Clause 3(খ) of the CAG circular asks for a recent colour photo (রঙিন ছবি) of 300 × 300 pixels with a file size of at most 100 KB. A square frame cuts more from a tall phone photo than a passport print does: from a 3024 × 4032 portrait the kit keeps the full width and a square band of it, so move the crop slider until your head and the top of your shoulders sit inside.

Our phone portrait came out at 33.7 KB at the highest JPG quality, about a third of the limit. You do not need to lower the quality to get under 100 KB unless the photo is unusually detailed.

Signature: 300 × 80 pixels, up to 60 KB

The same clause asks for a signature of 300 × 80 pixels and at most 60 KB. The circular writes both sizes in Bengali as দৈর্ঘ্য × প্রস্থ (length × breadth); for the signature that means 300 pixels across and 80 pixels high, which is how the kit makes it.

File size is not the hard part here: a few ink strokes on white paper compress to well under 10 KB. The hard part is the shape. The kit whitens the paper and trims everything around the ink before fitting it into the strip, so the signature fills the height instead of floating in a white box.

If your circular gives other numbers

Each Teletalk circular states its own rule in its own clause. If yours asks for a 300 × 100 pixel signature, a different photo size or a different KB limit, this preset is the wrong one for that form. Use the 300 × 100 resizer or the signature resizer with a custom size, both linked below, and check the result against your circular.

How to prepare the Teletalk files

  1. 1. Find the photo and signature clause

Open your circular and find the line about the photo and the signature (in the CAG circular it is clause 3(খ)). If it says 300 × 300 and 300 × 80 pixels, carry on here.

  2. 2. Take a photo with room above your head

Stand against a plain, light wall with the phone at eye level. Leave space above your head and below your chin, because the square crop removes the top and bottom of a tall photo.

  3. 3. Sign inside a 7.5 × 2 cm box

Draw a box 7.5 cm wide and 2 cm high on white paper and sign inside it with a black or dark blue pen. The box has the same 15 : 4 shape as 300 × 80 pixels, so the trimmed signature fills the strip.

  4. 4. Add both files and read the checks

Add the photo and the signature. Each one shows its pixel size, its KB size and a pass or fail line. A file you prepared earlier is checked first and kept unchanged if it already passes.

  5. 5. Download and choose them in the form

Download the ZIP or each JPG (teletalk-bd-photo-300x300.jpg and teletalk-bd-signature-300x80.jpg) and pick them in the photo and signature fields of the Teletalk form. After you apply, download the Applicant’s Copy from the same site and keep it.

What we got from real files

Our kit with the Teletalk preset on 2026-11-04, in Chrome at a 390 px phone width. 1 KB = 1,024 bytes; times are from a desktop computer, a phone takes longer.
FileWhat we addedResultSizeTimeOutcome
PhotoPhone portrait photo: 3024 × 4032 px, 540.2 KB300 × 300 px33.7 KB0.14 sMade, passes
PhotoJPG someone had already prepared: 300 × 300 px, 6.9 KB300 × 300 px6.9 KB0.06 sAlready passed, kept unchanged
SignatureSignature photographed on grey paper: 1600 × 1200 px, 85.1 KB300 × 80 px8.2 KB0.11 sMade, passes
SignaturePNG from a scanner: 300 × 80 px, 18.0 KB300 × 80 px13.1 KB0.06 sMade, passes

The phone portrait and the paper signature were remade at the exact size. The 300 × 300 JPG that a shop had already made passed every check, so the kit handed back its original 7,104 bytes untouched. The scanner PNG had the right pixel size but the wrong format; the kit saved it as a 13.1 KB JPG.

When this page is not the right tool

  • Your circular asks for different numbers, such as a 300 × 100 pixel signature. Use the matching size page or the signature resizer with your own size.
  • Your photo has a coloured or busy background. The kit crops and sizes the photo but does not repaint the background; if you want plain white, make it with the background tool first, then come back.
  • Your photo is an iPhone HEIC file and your browser cannot open it. Safari can; elsewhere, convert it to JPG first.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Teletalk photo and signature size?

In the CAG circular of 29 October 2026 the photo is 300 × 300 pixels and at most 100 KB, and the signature is 300 × 80 pixels and at most 60 KB. Many Teletalk circulars repeat these numbers, but each one states its own rule, so check the clause in yours.

How do I resize a photo to 300×300 pixels for Teletalk?

Add your photo to the kit on this page. It crops a square from the photo, makes it exactly 300 × 300 pixels and keeps it under 100 KB. Move the crop slider until your face sits in the upper middle, then download the JPG.

How do I make a 300×80 signature?

Sign in black ink inside a 7.5 × 2 cm box on white paper, photograph it and add it here. The kit whitens the paper, trims the empty margin and fits the signature into exactly 300 × 80 pixels. Our test file was 8.2 KB.

My signature file is only 8 KB. Will Teletalk reject it?

Not for being small under the CAG rule: the circular sets a maximum of 60 KB and no minimum. What matters is the pixel size, 300 × 80, and that the signature is clear.

Is the 100 KB limit 100,000 or 102,400 bytes?

Circulars do not say. The kit keeps the photo at or below 100,000 bytes and the signature at or below 60,000 bytes, so the files pass under either reading.

Can I use a PNG or a screenshot?

Yes, as input. The CAG circular does not name a file format; the kit always saves a JPG and converts a PNG or a screenshot for you. In our test a 300 × 80 PNG of 18.0 KB became a 13.1 KB JPG.
