Resize Image to 300×80 Pixels
Resize a signature to exactly 300×80 pixels (300*80) for Teletalk government job forms in Bangladesh: JPG, 60 KB or less, cropped without stretching.
300 × 80 pixels in short
300 × 80 means 300 pixels wide and 80 pixels tall: a 15:4 strip (3.75 to 1) holding 24,000 pixels. It is the signature size printed in Bangladesh government job circulars that take applications on Teletalk. The CAG circular we read asks for the signature at 300 × 80 pixels and at most 60 KB, next to a 300 × 300 photo of at most 100 KB.
Upload a photo of your signature, leave "Crop to fill" on, drag the frame until all of the ink sits inside the strip and download the JPG. Our files came out between 3.0 KB and 8.2 KB, and the circular sets no minimum, so the KB limit is rarely the problem on Teletalk. A faint, tilted or clipped signature is.

Teletalk job applications in Bangladesh
The CAG recruitment circular sets two images: a colour photo of 300 × 300 pixels up to 100 KB and a signature of 300 × 80 pixels up to 60 KB. Ministries and directorates that recruit through Teletalk usually print the same pair, but every circular is its own rule, so read the photo and signature clause of the one you are applying to.
How Bangla circulars write the size
Circulars give the signature as length (দৈর্ঘ্য) 300 × breadth (প্রস্থ) 80 pixels. Length is the long side, so the file is 300 pixels across and 80 pixels high. An 80-wide, 300-high file is the same numbers turned on its side and will not fit the signature box.
Not the 300 × 100 strip
Other forms, such as the Indian OCI application, use a 3:1 signature strip like 300 × 100. A Teletalk signature is 20 pixels lower than that, so a file made for one is the wrong shape for the other; make each from your original photo.
Teletalk photo and signature rule, side by side
The circular asks for both images in one clause. This is what it says, and how a 300 × 100 file compares.
| Image | Pixel size (width × height) | Shape | Largest file | Smallest file |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Signature | 300 × 80 | 15:4, a low strip | 60 KB | No minimum stated |
| Photo | 300 × 300 | 1:1, a square | 100 KB | No minimum stated |
| A 300 × 100 signature | 300 × 100 | 3:1 | — | Does not match: 20 pixels too tall |

How to make a 300 × 80 signature for a Teletalk form
Sign low and wide
Sign once on plain white paper with a black or dark blue pen. A long, flat signature fills a 15:4 strip well; a tall, looping one has to shrink to 80 pixels of height and its loops close up.
Photograph the paper from straight above
Use daylight and no flash, hold the phone parallel to the page, and fill most of the frame with the signature so no shadow of your hand or phone crosses it.
Upload and keep "Crop to fill"
A phone photo is 4:3. Crop to fill keeps a band 36% as tall as the photo (1600 × 427 from a 1600 × 1200 picture). Drag the band until the whole signature is inside with a little paper above and below.
Leave the format on JPG
The results panel shows the size before you download. Anything up to 60 KB is inside this circular, and there is no lower limit to reach.
Upload it in the signature field
The download ends in -300x80.jpg. Put it in the signature field and the 300 × 300 photo in the photo field; the two shapes are different, so a swapped file never matches its field.
What we got from real files
We ran a generated test image (not a customer file) through this page and through the Teletalk preset of the Exam Photo & Signature Kit, in headless Chromium at a 390 × 844 phone size, on 4 November 2026. Each file was ready 0.17 to 0.22 seconds after the click.
| Input | Setting | Output | What to notice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phone photo of a signature on grey paper, 1600 × 1200, JPG, 93.4 KB | This page: Crop to fill, JPG | 300 × 80, 4.8 KB | Kept a 1600 × 427 band around the ink. The grey paper stays grey. |
| The same photo | This page: Fit inside, pad (blurred edges), JPG | 300 × 80, 3.0 KB | The whole photo shrinks to 107 × 80 in the middle of the strip, so the signature ends up much smaller. |
| The same photo | Kit, Teletalk preset | 300 × 80, 8.2 KB | The kit turned the paper white and cropped to the ink before resizing, so the signature fills the strip. It passed the 60 KB check. |
When this page is not the right tool
- You need both Teletalk images. This page makes one file at a time. The kit's Teletalk preset makes the 300 × 300 photo and the 300 × 80 signature, checks both against the circular and downloads them together in one ZIP.
- Grey, yellow or shadowed paper. This page keeps the colours of your photo. The kit and the Signature Resizer turn the paper white and trim the empty space around the ink first.
- A circular with other numbers. Some recruiters print their own sizes. If yours says 300 × 100, or sets a minimum KB, use the page or the preset that matches what it prints.
- A tiny source. A signature cut from a small scan that is under 300 pixels wide has to be enlarged and will look soft. Photograph the paper again at full phone resolution.
Frequently asked questions
Is 300*80 the same as 300 × 80 pixels?
300*80, 300x80, 300 × 80 and "300 by 80" all mean 300 pixels wide and 80 pixels tall. Width comes first. A file 80 wide and 300 tall is an upright strip, which no signature box uses.
What is the Teletalk signature size in KB?
The CAG circular sets a maximum of 60 KB and no minimum. A 300 × 80 JPG is small: ours were 3.0 KB to 8.2 KB. Even uncompressed, 24,000 colour pixels take 72,000 bytes, about 70.3 KB, so a JPG cannot come close to the limit.
Can I upload a 300 × 100 signature instead?
Not when the circular says 300 × 80. A 300 × 100 file is 20 pixels taller and 3:1 instead of 15:4. Make the 300 × 80 file from your original photo rather than trimming a 300 × 100 one, which tends to cut the tops of tall letters.
Why is part of my signature cut off?
Your photo is far taller than 15:4, so Crop to fill keeps only about a third of its height. Drag the preview until every stroke is inside the strip, or sign lower and wider on the paper and photograph it again.
What size is the Teletalk photo?
300 × 300 pixels and at most 100 KB in the same circular. The 300 × 300 page makes it on its own; the kit's Teletalk preset makes the photo and the signature together.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Resizing runs in your browser and the files are not sent to MAXScanner. The only site that receives them is the Teletalk application site, when you upload them there.
